St. Mary's-Colgan is 0-6 against Heritage Christian Academy since October of 2017 but things could change  on Saturday. The Panthers will take on the Chargers in a tournament  on Saturday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Having struggled with four  losses in a row, St. Mary's-Colgan  turned things around against Columbus  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp  3-0 victory. The Panthers not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since September 8th (when they won  3-0).
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9,  25-12.
 Raigen Crager and  Camryn Jacquinot were among the main playmakers for St. Mary's-Colgan as the former  had 11  digs and six  aces and the latter  had three  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Jacquinot has posted since back in September.
 They weren't the only good servers: St. Mary's-Colgan  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 18  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Heritage Christian Academy, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over Northland Christian  on Thursday.
 Heritage Christian Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 23-25, 25-18,  15-9.
 The  victory  got St. Mary's-Colgan back to even at 14-14. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.
 St. Mary's-Colgan came up short against Heritage Christian Academy when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, falling  2-0.
