Football Game Recap: Pyramid Lake vs. Round Mountain

After a disappointing 8 points in the match before, Round Mountain made sure to put some points up on the board against Pyramid Lake on Friday. Round Mountain put a hurting on Pyramid Lake to the tune of 50-14. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Round Mountain's flat performance the contest before.

After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Round Mountain offense stepped up its game and put 12 points on the board in the second quarter. Meanwhile, Pyramid Lake couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 12-0 heading into the break. Round Mountain's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win. The victory bumped their record up to 2-3. The defeat dropped Pyramid Lake's record to 2-1.

Round Mountain will look to defend their home turf next week against Mineral County at 7:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Pyramid Lake, they will face off against Sierra Lutheran. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
