Grayden Mondragon made the biggest impact on defense this week as La Junta bested Alamosa. He grabbed 2 sacks.
Bailey Garcia was the best receiver in the league this week as the Maroons fell to the Tigers. Garcia racked up 4 receptions for 83 yards. Ryan Brubacher helped Alamosa's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 66 yards.
Alamosa's Marco Garcia and Garcia led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Garcia has thrown for 1,098 yards this season, while Garcia has 30 catches for 643 yards. Zach Hoxie from Florence leads the league in rushing with 888 yards.
A big matchup in 2A Tri-Peaks this week will be when La Junta takes on Lamar. Clint Buderus' team is in fourth place, while the Savages are in second place.
