The Dayton Broncos''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 56-22 defeat at the hands of Fort Bend Willowridge. Dayton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fort Bend Willowridge apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Despite the loss, Dayton still got an impressive performance from Dawson Victorian, who picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Dayton's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 4-5. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Dayton will challenge Fort Bend Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Bend Marshall will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Santa Fe at 1:00 p.m.
