Volleyball Recap: Heritage Wins Going Away Against Broomfield + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Heritage were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Broomfield. For Heritage, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory Broomfield walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

While Heritage might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Broomfield scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 25-23.

Hailey Hinrichsen paced Heritage's offense, picking up nine kills. Hinrichsen got some help from Maddy Davis and her 14 assists. Hinrichsen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win made it two in a row for Heritage and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Broomfield, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Heritage has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Legend on the 9th. As for Broomfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Doherty on the 13th.
