Grand River Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They strolled past Fuchs Mizrachi with points to spare, taking the game 71-52. The win was nothing new for Grand River Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand River Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Filip Runjo, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Runjo has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Joseph Quartey was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Grand River Academy pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Fuchs Mizrachi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
Grand River Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fuchs Mizrachi, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Reimer Road Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th.
