Despite the defeat, Lake Station Edison had strong showings from Davon Jones, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds, and Areion Head, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Pridemore, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Lake Station Edison's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Kouts, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
