Blue Ridge is 0-8 against the Knights since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Blue Ridge Knights will get right back to it and host the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Blue Ridge is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
On Monday, Blue Ridge was beaten by the Redskins 69-8.
Meanwhile, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond earned a 59-46 win over the Timberwolves on Monday. The win was just what Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond needed coming off of a 66-42 defeat in their prior match.
Claire Seal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 15 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Herschberger, who scored 11 points.
Blue Ridge has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.
Blue Ridge took a serious blow against the Knights when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 66-17. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Blue Ridge was down 46-10.
