Vannest threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, while  H Ritter gained 188 total yards and three touchdowns. H Ritter was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 69 yards.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Byers  fell to 10-1. As for Mancos, their victory was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-1.
 Byers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mancos, they will challenge Haxtun at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Mancos knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Haxtun likes a good challenge.
