The Kanab Cowboys waltzed into their matchup  on Wednesday with four straight wins  but they left with five. They blew past Water Canyon 71-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kanab also won the last time the pair played  back in January.
 Kanab got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cash Mortensen out in front who  scored 20 points along with six  assists and three  steals. Mortensen is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last five games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trajen Glazier, who  scored 15 points along with three  blocks.
 Kanab used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Water Canyon. And. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity:  Troy Federkeil  scored seven points along with 11  rebounds and two  steals, while  he  scored 15 points along with three  blocks.
 Kanab is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Water Canyon, they have  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost six of their last seven matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
 Kanab will head out on the road to  take on  Millard at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Kanab is facing Millard at the right time seeing as Millard is stuck on a 22-game losing streak. Water Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
