Meanwhile, Walnut Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 51-42 win over South.
West Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Walnut Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
