Zack Smith posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over seven innings pitched.

Smith's strong effort led Lowell over Highland and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
