Monroe is 10-0 against Cascade since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Monroe Bearcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Cascade Bruins at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Monroe sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 win over Cedarcrest. The victory was just what Monroe needed coming off of a 61-30 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Cascade took care of business in their home opener on December 2nd. They walked away with a 55-42 victory over Cleveland.
Monroe's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4. As for Cascade, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.
Everything came up roses for Monroe against Cascade in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 76-39 victory. Will Monroe repeat their success, or does Cascade have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
