The Bonham Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. The game between them and Blue Ridge wasn't particularly close, with Bonham falling 51-34. Bonham was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Blue Ridge apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Bonham's loss came despite strong showings from DJ Stewart and Jagger Lindsey. Stewart scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Lindsey scored nine points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Heath Brown, who scored four points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Bonham dropped their record down to 17-16 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Blue Ridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-13.
Bonham will head out on the road to take on Leonard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bonham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pottsboro at 7:00 p.m.
