After soaring to 57 points the game before, Willowbend faltered in their match on Saturday. They took a serious blow against East Texas Christian Academy, falling 6-46. Willowbend's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
The defeat dropped Willowbend's record to 1-2. The win bumped East Texas Christian Academy's record up to 1-2.
Willowbend will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Full Armor Christian Academy at 10:00 AM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat. As for East Texas Christian Academy, they will face off against Trinity School of Texas. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, East Texas Christian Academy and Trinity School of Texas will really light up the scoreboard.
