A Season-Best Performance from Brock Benson Leads North Judson-San Pierre over Winamac
On Friday, North Judson-San Pierre got the W thanks in part to Brock Benson playing the best football he has all season. Benson rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (113.6). That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Benson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Caston on Friday. When Benson last faced the Comets back in August of 2023, he rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Micah Rans Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Pioneer was led to victory by Micah Rans, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Rans rushed for 177 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 91 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (109.9) per game. Those 177 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Pioneer, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Rans and Pioneer will challenge Triton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Musall Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, North Miami got the W thanks in part to Lake Musall playing the best football he has all season. Musall rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards.
North Miami pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Musall and North Miami are taking a road trip to take on Culver Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Noah Vanmeter Dazzles in Pioneer Victory
Noah Vanmeter was instrumental in extending Pioneer's winning streak to five on Friday. Culver Community had no answer to Vanmeter as he rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown. Vanmeter showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 55 yards.
For the season, Vanmeter has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 94.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 18.86 rushing yards per game.

Meredith Posts Huge Game in 63-20 Victory
The second North Miami player making an appearance here is Ryan Meredith, and for good reason. He rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
This season, Meredith has averaged 11.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging two receiving yards per game.
