The Colonie Central Wolfpack will take on the Schalmont Sabres at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Schalmont took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Colonie Central, who comes in off a win.
Colonie Central barely beat Guilderland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolfpack never let the Flying Dutchmen get on the board and left with  an   11-0  victory  on Monday. The Wolfpack might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Riley Brooks looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Nate Figueroa, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.  Eric Graves was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Colonie Central  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Guilderland only managed four  hits.
 Meanwhile, Schalmont came up short against Ichabod Crane on Tuesday and fell  4-1. The Sabres have struggled against the Riders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
 Colonie Central pushed their record up to 10-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Schalmont, they now  have a losing record of 6-7-1.
 Colonie Central took their  win against Schalmont  when the teams last played  back in May of 2022 by a conclusive  20-1 score. Will the Wolfpack repeat their success,  or do  the Sabres have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
