The Pleasant Spartans will be taking part in a tournament against the Liberty Union Lions  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

Pleasant extended their home winning streak to 16 games  dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from  Kamryn Roberts. The Spartans came out on top against Fredericktown by a score of  3-1  on Thursday with plenty of help from  Roberts, who  had 29  digs and four assists. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last 19 games she's  played.
 Pleasant had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-11, 25-8,  25-14.
Pleasant can attribute much of their success to   Siri Veladanda, who  had ten  digs, and   Macy Hamper, who  had 15  assists and six  aces. That's the most  digs  Veladanda has posted  over her last seven  matches.
 They weren't the only good servers: Pleasant  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fredericktown only  served six.
Meanwhile, Liberty Union sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over Miller  on Saturday.
 Liberty Union was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-104), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-23,  15-13.
 Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Liberty Union, their win bumped their record up to 3-19.
