Volleyball Recap: Canby's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It was a good run, but Canby unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Minneota Vikings. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Lancers haven't been shut out since back in September.

Canby couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Minneota a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-14, 25-16.

Karlie Wollum paced Canby's offense, picking up nine kills. Wollum got some help from Emily Nelson and her 14 assists. Nelson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Canby's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Minneota, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-7.

As of now, neither Canby nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
