The Covenant Christian Academy Rams's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against Cottage by a score of 49-40. That's another feather in the cap for Covenant Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Barnes, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Dorsey, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Covenant Christian Academy's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-11. As for Cottage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.
Covenant Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Irish Wolfhounds at 6:30 p.m. As for Cottage, they will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Atlanta Area School for the Deaf comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
