Clovis East and Clovis West are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Timberwolves will welcome the Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Clovis East has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Clovis East is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Clovis North just ended the team's 11-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 4-2. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Chloe Solis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eliana Massicci was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Clovis West waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Musketeers by a score of 10-7. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Golden Eagles considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Clovis West also got a great performance from Clair Canales as she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits.
On the hitting side, Clovis West let Alexys Busch and Madelyn Johnston run wild. Busch went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, while Johnston went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Kylie Byrd was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Clovis West's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Clovis East, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
Clovis East got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Clovis West by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
