Volleyball Recap: Walker Finds Home Court Redemption Against the Weber School

There's no place like home for Walker, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over The Weber School Rams on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Walker took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12.

Annabelle Rosen paced Walker's offense, picking up nine kills. Rosen got some help from Samantha Baty and her 20 assists. Baty was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Walker's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for The Weber School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Walker and The Weber School will both be playing Decatur the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
