Carlsbad came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Roswell Coyotes as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cavemen/Cavegirls, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Carlsbad's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Roswell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Carlsbad will have a chance to go back-to-back against Roswell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
