After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Booker T. Washington, South Dade was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They walked away with  a   14-7  victory over the Homestead Broncos. For the Buccaneers, this counts as revenge for the   35-0 loss the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2023.
  Montrey Jackson threw for 91 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.

 The  win  got South Dade back to even at 1-1. As for Homestead, their defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 0-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Dade's road trip will continue as they head out to face Osceola at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Homestead, they will face off against Vero Beach at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Vero Beach focused on turnovers this week  as team gave up five on Friday.
