Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Evan Parish
Evan Parish was instrumental in extending Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Parish as he made 11 total tackles. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
Momence had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Parish it was a similar story. Parish made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss) the last time he and the Momence Athletics duked it out back in October of 2023.

Momence Gets a Boost from Castillo in 42-14 Loss
Erick Castillo posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 259 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.
Castillo and Momence will look to defend their home field on Friday against Watseka at 7:00 p.m. The last time Castillo took on the Warriors, he threw for 175 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Chase Harrison Dazzles in Oakwood Win
Chase Harrison was a major factor in Oakwood's victory over Iroquois West on Friday. Iroquois West had no answer to Harrison as he picked up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Harrison is becoming a predictor of Oakwood's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Harrison must have Iroquois West's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Harrison last faced the Raiders back in October of 2023, he picked up 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Brogan Halpin Crosses Big Stat Threshold
The second Momence player making an appearance here is Brogan Halpin, and for good reason. He picked up 145 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.9). He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 75 yards.
This year, Halpin has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 101.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 25.14 receiving yards per game.
