De la cruz scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals, while Nealy dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 steals. The contest was De la cruz's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Nyila Botello was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Burbank is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Sam Houston, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Hopefully Alamo Heights focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
