Softball Recap: Alvin Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Alvin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Sam Rayburn Texans get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellowjackets needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The win got Alvin back to even at 7-7. As for Sam Rayburn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Alvin and Sam Rayburn will both be playing Manvel the next time they take the field. Sam Rayburn will head out to face Manvel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Alvin will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
