It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Legacy Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 80-78 win over the West Ranch Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since December 20, 2024.

Legacy Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was RJ Jarreau, who made all 8 shots he took to post 20 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Jarreau a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Lowery, who posted 20 points and three blocks.

Legacy Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for West Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.
