On Friday, The Keswick Christian Crusaders''s game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Cornerstone Charter Academy by a score of 21-13. The win made it back-to-back wins for Keswick Christian.
Keswick Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Pauley-sherman led the charge by rushing for 131 yards while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 62 yards and a touchdown. Cooper Craig made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Keswick Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Keswick Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Saint Francis Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Cornerstone Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
