Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jimmy Cluff stepped things up a notch to give Blue Ridge the 'W'. Cluff was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Cluff and Blue Ridge will head out to square off against Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Barons have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
