The Cohoes Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk by a score of 37-35. Cohoes has not had much luck with Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk found their leader in underclassman Hayden Wolfe, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Wolfe pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Cohoes bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Cohoes will be home for the holidays to greet La Salle Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (La Salle Institute is ranked 345th, while Cohoes is ranked 366th). As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, they will head out on the road to face off against Hudson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hudson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
