Everything came up roses for Huntingdon against Perry County on Thursday as the squad secured a 56-6 win. Followers of Huntingdon probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected eight blowout victories.
Huntingdon started the match off right with 49 first-half points. Meanwhile, Perry County couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 49-0 heading into the break. The Huntingdon defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. Huntingdon added further sheen to their flawless record, now 9-0. Perry County are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-8.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Huntingdon take on Middleton at 7:00 PM. Perry County will be staying on the road, facing off against Wayne County.
