Football Recap: St. David Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

St. David extended their road winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Chase Pacheco. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Baboquivari Warriors 59-0 thanks in part to Pacheco, who rushed for 123 yards and a pair of scores. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 69 yards.

Special teams played a big role in the game for St. David, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Tot Pacheco, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

St. David's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. Pacheco was especially locked on to Baboquivari's QB and sacked him 3.5 times.

St. David's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Baboquivari, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. David will venture away from home to face off against San Manuel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baboquivari, they will head out to square off against Mohave Accelerated at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
