Kermit not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Lamesa Tornadoes 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-15.

Kermit's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Lamesa, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Kermit and Jal will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamesa, they will challenge Snyder at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
