The Scott's Branch Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Johnsonville 71-40 at home. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for Scott's Branch this season.
It was another big night for Jordan Kind, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nigel Lawson, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
The victory (which was Scott's Branch's third in a row) raised their record to 8-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Johnsonville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.
Scott's Branch will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnsonville, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
