First Preparatory Christian Academy is 2-8 against Bethesda Academy since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders will head out on the road to  face off against  Bethesda Academy at 7:00  p.m. First Preparatory Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 474 points over their last six matchups.
 Even though Robert Toombs Christian Academy scored an imposing 72 points on Tuesday, First Preparatory Christian Academy still came out on top. First Preparatory Christian Academy took their   match against Robert Toombs Christian Academy   84-72. The  victory was just what First Preparatory Christian Academy needed coming off of a  89-58 defeat in their prior  match.
 First Preparatory Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jaiden Thomas, who  scored 27 points along with four  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Thomas has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jeremiah Moore, who  scored 22 points along with five  assists and two  steals.
 Meanwhile, Bethesda Academy came tearing into  Monday's  contest with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding  70-32 win over Colleton Prep Academy at home. Bethesda Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matchups by 25  points or more this season.
 It was another big night for  Jacari Mckay, who  scored 19 points along with eight  rebounds and seven  assists.  Ryan King was another key contributor,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.
 First Preparatory Christian Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Bethesda Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  at home.
 First Preparatory Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind  Bethesda Academy when the teams last played  back in December of 2023, losing  81-63. Can First Preparatory Christian Academy avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
