When it comes to explaining why Galena lost, one person who can't be blamed is Connor Glasgow. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Glasgow is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Kaden Hauber was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Galena's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galena's road trip will continue as they head out to face Belvidere at 3:25 p.m. on January 15th. Belvidere is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to take on Guilford at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Guilford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
