Laguna Beach lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dylan McEachern, who scored 18 points. McEachern is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mack Thompson, who scored ten points.
Laguna Beach has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Marina, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-7.
Laguna Beach will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Corona del Mar at 7:00 p.m. As for Marina, they will head out on the road to square off against Huntington Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Huntington Beach has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
