The North Star Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 62-51 to Compass Charter. That's two games in a row now that North Star has lost by exactly 11 points.
Beau Bristol was the offensive standout of the match as he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. He set a new season high mark in steals with three. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Horn, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
North Star bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Compass Charter, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Star will face off against The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Ambrose School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Star in Idaho (The Ambrose School is ranked tenth, while North Star is ranked 125th). As for Compass Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Cole Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cole Valley Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three contests.
