Brendan Hall Goes Supernova in Geneva County Win
Starting off the list is Geneva County's Brendan Hall, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hall rushed for 312 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
With the win, Geneva County broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. Hall and Geneva County will challenge Houston County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cottonwood Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Braylon Morris
Cottonwood picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Braylon Morris. Ariton had no answer to Morris as he threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown. Morris also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.
Cottonwood's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Morris and Cottonwood will take on Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyler Sharp Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Providence Christian got the W thanks in part to Tyler Sharp playing the best football he has all season. Sharp rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Providence Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Sharp and Providence Christian will challenge Long at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Campbell Came Up Big in Cottonwood's 57-6 Victory
King Campbell's big game helped extend Cottonwood's winning streak to eight on Friday. Campbell was unstoppable, rushing for 200 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
On the year, Campbell has averaged 16 receiving yards per game.
