Ty'lyn Blackwell-Williams Turns in Season-Best Effort
Ty'Lyn Blackwell-Williams produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Nyack to the win on Thursday. Blackwell-Williams rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
With the win, Nyack broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5. Blackwell-Williams and Nyack will take on Clarkstown South at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Ty Ramachandran and Co. Win 16th in a Row
Rye picked up their 16th consecutive win on Sunday thanks in part to Ty Ramachandran. Ramachandran produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 101 yards, and also caught a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Rye's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Ramachandran and Rye will take on Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Carson Miller Has Career-Day on Sunday
Carson Miller's big game helped extend Rye's winning streak to 16 on Sunday. Miller rushed for 94 yards on only five carries, and also threw for 35 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This season, Miller has thrown 16 touchdowns (and and only 3 pick) while averaging 233.2 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one passing touchdown.
