Fans got a thrill when Patrick Vibbard and Tanner Schunk connected against Unatego. The longest such play in Section 4 D Division VI this season, the connection resulted in 68 yards.
Tioga was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Chenango Forks. The Tigers came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 54 last week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Candor takes on Tioga. As it stands, the Indians are in fifth, while the Tigers are in first.
Harpursville moved up to 156 from 249 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Hornets were able to make move up by topping Waverly 28-14.
