It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the St. Andrew's Highlanders ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They secured a 42-37 W over St. Stephen's Episcopal. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Andrew's.
St. Stephen's Episcopal's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Donnica Armstrong, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Armstrong is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Lartigue, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
St. Andrew's win bumped their record up to 16-13. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.
St. Andrew's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Stephen's Episcopal also has no future games currently scheduled.
