 Meanwhile, Farragut put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season  on Wednesday. They blew past Intrinsic 13-1. The  win was nothing new for Farragut as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Like Intrinsic, Farragut also got a great game from a two-way player:  Ben DeMateo. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. DeMateo has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. DeMateo was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Farragut got a  massive  performance out of  Nico Roman, who  went 2-for-4 with six  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  double. Roman has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Yoel Guerra was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Intrinsic's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Farragut, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Intrinsic has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 12  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Farragut struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9.3. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
