West Burlington/Notre Dame have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Camanche at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
We expected West Burlington/Notre Dame to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Mt. Vernon last Friday, and they did. West Burlington/Notre Dame have to be aching after a bruising 8-41 loss to Mt. Vernon. West Burlington/Notre Dame's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it four losses in a row.
Meanwhile, Camanche entered their contest against West Liberty without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Camanche found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-35 punch to the gut against West Liberty. This makes it the second loss in a row for Camanche.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
