Cedar Catholic won the last time they faced Elkhorn Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cedar Catholic Trojans were the clear victor by a 57-33 margin over the Elkhorn Valley Falcons. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-9.

Elkhorn Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kellyn Ollendick, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Qualset, who earned seven points and five rebounds.

Cedar Catholic's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Elkhorn Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Coming up, Cedar Catholic will square off against Battle Creek at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elkhorn Valley, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons duke it out with the Bluejays at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
