On Friday Melrose take on Winchester at McCall MS at 7:00 PM. Melrose are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
We expected Melrose to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Stoneham last Friday, and they did. Melrose found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-40 punch to the gut against Stoneham. Melrose were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-22.
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Winchester as they fell 14-17 to Belmont. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Winchester.
Melrose took their game against Winchester the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 46-14 score. Will Melrose repeat their success, or does Winchester have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
