The Glennallen Panthers came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Non Varsity Opponent 43-40. This was payback for Glennallen, who suffered a 42-25 loss the last time these two teams met.
Cheyenne Fields continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Rude, who scored ten points.
Glennallen pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Non Varsity Opponent, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 113-216.
Glennallen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-32 loss vs. Non Varsity Opponent on the 9th. Non Varsity Opponent has also already played their next matchup, a 31-26 win against Clovis Christian on the 8th.
