The Mooseheart Red Ramblers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They lost to Calumet Christian at home by a decisive 77-63 margin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Mooseheart's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tolu Erinolu, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nishi Amos, who scored 16 points.

Nymeyer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Mooseheart has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Calumet Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-15.
Mooseheart will challenge the Thunder at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. College Prep of America knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully the Red Ramblers like a good challenge. Calumet Christian is on the road again on Thursday and plays the at 8:30 a.m. on February 8th.
