On Saturday, Harrison Central got the win against Cambridge by a conclusive 16-6. Considering the Huskies have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Mikayla Pelegreen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
